"What is more noble than to reach the next generation, to see children holding your understanding in their eyes, your hope in their lives, your world in their hands. In their joy and success you find your fulfillment, so for them you give everything". I have thought many times about how much truth this thought contains. Willingly or unwillingly, I pass on my way of understanding the world to the child I am raising. He looks at everything I am and assimilates without selection. If I make him now look at the world as a place of fear, terror, and competition, he will look at it like that decades from now. If he notices a serene, open, peaceful approach in me, he will approach the same perspective now and in years to come. Moreover, the God I serve now will be the God he will serve years from now, and my beliefs will in time become his beliefs. My faith will form his, for I open a way. Now they are building a foundation that the child will strengthen through his own experiences, always feeling the influence of the first laid bricks.

How noble it can be to see that the hope of eternity that animated you, gives wings to the child you raised. How beautiful to know that the one whose hands you joined for the first time finds his refuge in prayer years later. What a grace to see a life transformed by the word you took the time to plant in it. I am so excited at the thought that we can touch a generation, that we can win it for Christ! It takes work, but it's not in vain. Sacrifices are required, but they are not wasted. Dedication is required, but don't be betrayed. Love is required, but don't mistake the destination...

It's worth giving everything for such strong guarantees!
